Interships and the End-of-Degree Project

Gain professional experience while studying

Learning through real experiences and your relationship with educational centers are essential characteristics of the Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. From the beginning of your studies, you will have the option to become familiar with the school from the inside, learning under the university-school alternance model. In addition, at the end of the bachelor's degree, you will complete an End-of-Degree Project (EDP) to delve deeper into educational innovation.

Internships and the alternance model

Beginning in your first year of study, you will be able to do internships in different educational centers in the Basque Country, in Spain, and abroad. The internships will have different durations and structures, some of which will be related to the specialization you choose within your bachelor's degree. Your internships will allow you to gain first-hand experience of the teaching profession and of the real context of this profession. In addition, in your 4th year of study, you will work under the alternance model. That is, during your internship period, you will spend three days a week at the school and two days at the university.

Internships abroad

Your internships will provide you with mobility experience and professional experience and you will be able to do them both in local institutions and in institutions abroad. In addition, they offer you the opportunity to complete the training program and learn about other points of view. Mobility procedures are adapted to the objectives of the training program. Among European schools, those in the university network ETEN (European Teacher Education Network) and those in NETT (Network for the Education and Training of Teachers) stand out. As for schools in the Americas, we have agreements with several countries in Central and South America, such as Mexico, Colombia, Puerto Rico and Chile, among others.
