AWARDS CEREMONY
The awards ceremony for the 2021 Euspot competition was held at the Arkupe cultural center in Aretxabaleta. The event was hosted by Mondragon University Audiovisual Communication alumna, journalist and bertsolari Ane Zuazubiskar. Of the 87 advertisements submitted for the competition, the 15 finalists selected by the panel of judges were shown. The awards ceremony audience also enjoyed a performance by cellist Eñaut Zubizarreta from Aretxabaleta.

Euspot awarded €2,800 in prizes in this year’s 10th annual competition.

87 ADVERTISEMENTS IN THE COMPETITION

This year a total of 87 works were submitted, 36 more than last year. Of the works submitted, 52 were created by adults over 18 years of age, and the remaining 35 were done by minors.

The works submitted for the competition came from places all over the Basque Country, such as Hondarribia, Donostia, Durango, Gasteiz, Urruña, Irun, Bergara, Dima, Bilbao, Eibar, Arrasate, Aramaio, Leitza, Mungia, Etxalar, Mendexa, Azkoitia, Aretxabaleta, Zarautz, Soraluze, Orereta, Doneztebe, Hernani, Idiazabal, Garai Leaga, Legazpi, Oñati, Errezil, Sodupe, Barakaldo, Zarautz and Asteasu.
