On February 18, the tenth annual Euspot Basque ad competition was held on the Aretxabaleta campus. This year’s theme was agriculture and, specifically, aims to place value on the importance of family farming. Koldo Zubillaga, Councilman of the Aretxabaleta City Council, took part in the presentation; as did Josu Garaialde, Hazi’s Director of Promotion; Arantzazu Lagunilla, Director of Arteman; Alberto Garro, Communications Manager of Arizmendi Ikastola; and Zuriñe Maguregi, Project Coordinator for the Bachelor’s Degree Program in Audiovisual Communication at Mondragon University.

Under the motto We want to live from agriculture!, this year’s event aims to encourage young people to become more familiar with family farming. The aim is to bring young people, including women specifically, to the rural environment and closer to a sustainable form of farming, livestock and forestry.
