KoKrea, Nuevos mecanismos de colaboración universidad-empresa para promover la economía creativa project has been funded by the Gipuzkoa Provincial council, within the financial aid call "Programa para promover el fortalecimiento competitivo del tejido empresarial guipuzcoano: Ekonomia Sortzailea".

Main objective

To define new mechanisms of university-business collaboration (CUE) adapted to the characteristics, needs and opportunities of companies in Gipuzkoa to promote the creative economy by generating and contributing to the development of the territory.

This general objective is broken down into another series of sub-objectives. These partial objectives are:

Partial objectives

  • To know the needs and challenges faced by companies in Gipuzkoa.
  • To bring the MGEP students to the business reality.
  • To design and implement new mechanisms to promote CUE.
  • To generate teaching material tailored to the new CUE mechanisms generated.
  • To raise awareness among those involved regarding the importance of university-business collaboration in order to promote the transformation value of the creative economy through a pilot experience and dissemination of the project through a website.

 

 

Stages

The main activities developed in the framework of this project are as follows

  • Recruitment of companies participating in the project.
  • Recruitment of students participating in the project.
  • Design of the CUE mechanisms and preparation of the work material.
  • Implementation of the new CUE mechanisms.
  • Communication and dissemination of the project.

Results obtained

Considering the general objective and the partial objectives that proposed for this project, the expected results are listed as follows:

  1. Strengthening the Triple Helix model of Gipuzkoa, bringing the entrepreneurial reality closer to the students and offering companies new CUE mechanisms to face their needs and/or challenges.
  2. Learning about the different mechanisms of CUE.
  3. Learning about the detected needs and challenges faced by companies in Gipuzkoa.
  4. Bringing the students closer to the business reality and motivate them with real projects.
  5. Teaching tools tailored to the new CUE mechanisms.  
  6. A website in which the knowledge generated in the project is disseminated and awareness is raised regarding the importance of the transmission processes.
  7. Generation of knowledge about the CUE mechanisms and their application in the promotion of the transformation value of the creative economy.
In view of the expected results of the project, it is considered that they value the knowledge transfer activities of Mondragon Goi Eskola Politeknikoa for the needs and challenges of companies and society. This will result in a more sustainable and dynamic society, prepared to face the economic and social challenges of the present and future.
