As part of the project of the Master’s Degree Program in Learning Facilitation and Innovation (Lit) launched three years ago by TeamLabs and Mondragon University’s Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences to build a new profession, we continue with the intention of developing a process-oriented and experimental learning experience that will allow knowledge to be generated about this professional practice.

We have created various opportunities for this purpose during these years and now we wish to open another space for the promotion of collaborative and mutually enriching connections among students, professionals and institutions revolving around the new profession of facilitation: the Open Laboratory.

We wish to propose an environment focused on learning facilitation and innovation, based on the principle of connected learning. We want to design a safe place that allows us to share, experience and initiate the creation of an ecosystem of collaborative practices revolving around this profession.

Through a series of meetings in which different professionals will share their experiences, we will work with everyone who assists us in the construction of this professional practice.

The following is the list of meetings scheduled at TeamLabs Madrid and Bilbao AS Fabrik:

  • April 9. TeamLabs Madrid. Facilitation of collaborative projects for social change. With Pilar Aguilar (Oasis methodology) and Beatriz Gallego (Dragon Dreaming).
  • May 21. Bilbao AS Fabrik. Learning facilitation through artistic practices and methodologies. With Irene Sempere (Soundboard) and Maider Urrutia (Artaziak).
  • June 11. TeamLabs Madrid. Facilitation of citizen participation processes. With Alberto Corsín and María Masaguer.

Having the collaboration of these professionals and the participants in this space will allow us not only to become inspired, engage in dialogue, and create prototypes to continue enriching our learning experience in Lit, but also to transform our ways of doing and develop the profession of facilitation.
