Profile

He's a Telecommunications Engineer (from the Faculty of Engineering of Bilbao). As lecturer at the University of Mondragon, teaches courses in the areas of Telematics and Security. He also takes part in a new plan about project based learning in collaboration with the University of Aalborg (Denmark). In addition, he has attended numerous professional certifications courses such as Cisco, IBM and Microsoft. He is instructor of the CCNA program of Cisco Systems.

He began his career as a technician in networks and systems, working for various banking and industrial corporations, adquiring experience in design, implementation, maintenance and management of LAN and WAN networks. Since 2001 he teaches in the degrees of Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science and Management Engineering, in subjects such as "Communication Systems", "Telematics", "Communications Networks", "Operating Systems" ...

He also provides proffesional training to companies, offering courses to professionals and industry associations on Interconnection of Networks, Security, Network Management, Cost analysis, monitoring and optimization of networks, and so on. Is a professor in the postgraduate program of Mondragon Unibertsitatea. Participates in the Master of Telematics and in the Master of Systems Integration at the University.

He also makes research in Network Security. He has participated in several research projects. He is currently doing a thesis on Intrusion Detection Systems. In addition, performs consulting and technical support to the Information Systems area at the University.
