Telematika Taldea

The Telematics Group of the University of Mondragon works on the following areas of knowledge: Data Networking, Computer Security and Web Systems. The group members have an extensive experience and knowledge in areas such as: network management, telematic applications, VoIP, mobility, security mechanisms, systems administration and dynamic adaptation of electronic contents.

The telematics group is involved in both teaching (engineering, post-graduate, professional training) and research (PhD, projects funded by public and private entities, final year projects...).

The telematics reseach group is actually constituted by eleven researchers/lecturers, three doctors in engineering, and several research assistants. The research carried out is  aligned with the Communication and Information Technologies strategic reasearch line defined by the Electronic and Computer Science Department of the University of Mondragon.
 
Professional training
The Telematics Group also provides professional training to companies and offers two different kind of courses. First, open courses that are offered via Iraunkor catalog and second personalised courses taht can be given in the companies facilities. The following are some examples of courses delivered recently:

The main research areas of Telematika Taldea are:

  • Web Systems
These areas are not independent as they are closely related. For example when we talk about network management, most of the times we also include security aspects. The telematics groups work in collaboration with other R&D groups of Mondragn University such as Software Engineering, Distributeed Systems and Signal Processing. Telematika Taldea proviedes its expertise in networking and security to all those groups.
