The Faculty of Engineering of Mondragón commenced its teaching activity in 1943, promoted by the Rev. Fr. José Mari Arizmendiarrieta, founder of the cooperative experience of Mondragon. Since then it has continued to grow and in addition has prompted the creation of numerous innovating business experiences.
The 2003-2004 course, the School was awarded the silver Q for having obtained more than 400 points in the external evaluation carried out by Euskalit.
