Work Experience in Companies
Mondragon Unibertsitatea is a university that is permeable to the changes produced in society. Its practicas orientation makes it an institution with permanent relations with the working world and the companies and organisations that compose it.
For that reason, we give great importance to placements in companies, encouraging our students to come into contact with real working life from their study years.
Mondragon Unibertsitatea is part of Mondragon Corporation, which includes 230 companies and institutions and more than 70,000 workers.
This close relationship results in the immediate and constant knowledge of the companies' needs and demands, which makes it possible to adapt our training offer to them, guaranteeing, to a great extent, a high, fast rate of employment of our students in the working world.
The students go on work placements in different companies and educational centres, as an important complement to the training acquired at the University.
The duration of the placements varies according to the degree course. However, in all cases we offer direct monitoring of each student's development during the placement period, by the University tutor and the company or centre where the student is carrying out the work placement.
In some cases, we even offer the option of carrying out the work placement abroad thanks to the different agreements signed with other educational centres, which allow the mobility of the students.
Around 500 students from Mondragon Unibertsitatea go on work placements every year.
Depending on the qualification they are studying for, the work placement period can have special characteristics.

Final Year Project
The students who study at Mondragon Unibertsitatea carry out a final year project at one of the companies in the university's environment.
This way, the students can put into practice the knowledge acquired throughout the course, as well as getting used to routines they will have to take on in their professional practice: teamwork, communication, leadership, creativity, decision-making capacity, etc.
The final year projects are an excellent practical complement and represent the culmination of graduate and post-graduate studies.
The duration of the project can be one year -mainly in the case of graduate courses- or 4 months. All the projects are tutored by a representative from the university and another from the company.
Mondragon Unibertsitatea collaborates with numerous companies in carrying out final year porjects, including: Copreci, Caja Laboral, C.A.F., Ulma, Lagun Aro, MCC, Danobat, LKS, Condesa, Eroski, E.V.E., Group Fagor, Gamesa, Iberdrola, Inglectric, maier, Itur, Ona-Pres, Ondoan, Orona, Orkli, Repsol, Sener, Tubolast, TVA, URRSA, Zahor, Anaia, Azcoyen, Berriola, etc.
