It has begun the third edition of the expert title on Cooperative Development
Objectives
This postgraduate course aims: firstly, to make available to the participants the necessary elements for a reflection on the cooperative movement from a social and ideological point of view, and, secondly, to provide resources to train the people who will do the traction and expansion of the cooperative idea within our cooperatives. To achieve these goals, the educational proposal of this expert title will be characterized by:
- The education: we’ll try to bring cooperative education to the field of ideas and social, economic and ethical debate.
- The dialogic and participatory training.
- The dynamic formation. A space for participants will be created to share their experiences, concerns and future challenges.
- This program has a clear transformer purpose. It will aim to train people who, propelled by their commitment, will do traction in the social project of cooperatives; people that in their area can have a multiplier effect.
Modules
The students should work the following modules:
- Changes in society and the cooperative situation: time for change, change of cycle.
- The cooperative experience of Arrasate-Mondragon.
- The internal dimension of the cooperative movement: democracy and participation.
- External dimension of the cooperative movement: social transformation and community development.
- Psychology of cooperation. Empirical psychology as a basis for individuals and cooperative institutions.
- Management of cooperative education.
The students will do work in partial modules and a final project.
